- Serve for a period of two years starting in January of odd years.
- First Spring Meeting of Your Term as President: Select two Arizona STATE Delegates to recommend to the regional VP. Delegates are appointed for two years starting in April of odd years.

- Email Delegates details of the Delegate Assembly and their rights and responsibilities.
- Rights:
- ArizMATYC will reimburse you for the Conference Early Registration Fee
- Responsibilities:
- Attend the Delegate Assembly
- Present something you learned at the National Conference at an ArizMATYC Conference (or write an article about it) within one year of attending the National Conference.
- Email the Regional Vice President (a.s.a.p. but no later than June) the State and Affiliate Delegates’ Name, Institution, Address, Email, Phone
- Preside at all meetings of the Association and the Executive Board.
- Administer the affairs of the Association.
- Affiliate Scholarship. AMATYC has historically offers Affiliate Scholarships to the Annual AMATYC National Conference.
- Spring – Send notification of scholarship and link to application to ArizMATYC members. Deadline for application should be the first week of August.
- Summer – Send reminder of scholarship
- August – Notify applicants of results. Send scholarship results to AMATYC President, copying Regional VP
- Attend AMATYC Conference every November.
- Attend President Luncheon at the AMATYC Conference.
- Attend Delegate Assembly at the AMATYC Conference
- Serve as Affiliate Delegate to AMATYC.
- Appoint all committees (subject to the approval of a majority of the Executive Board or by a majority of the Executive Board itself) in a manner consistent with Article VII of the Constitution
- Be an ex‑officio member of all committees ArizMATYC committees.
- Prepare an annual report covering, the activities of the Association. This report shall be filed as a part of the permanent records of the Association.
