Welcome to the ArizMATYC Fall 2024 Conference! We are delighted to have you join us for this exciting event at Pima Community College, where we come together to enhance our professional skills and strengthen our community of mathematics and statistics educators.
We hope you find this conference both professionally and socially beneficial. With a diverse lineup of sessions, workshops, an amazing keynote speaker, and networking opportunities, there’s something for everyone.
We welcome you to join us for local excursions before the conference, that include meeting for dinner at a local brewery on Thursday and stargazing afterwards. On Friday, join us for an early morning hike at the gorgeous Saguaro National Park!

The Fall 2024 ArizMATYC Conference will be hosted by Pima Community College’s East Campus on Friday, October 4, 2024.

ArizMATYC and the MAA Southwestern Section will host a joint Spring 2024 conference on April 12 – 13 at Mohave Community College’s Lake Havasu Campus (1977 Acoma Blvd. West, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403).
The 2023 Arizona Women’s Symposium in Mathematics (AWSiM 2023), will take place on Saturday, November 18 – Sunday, November 19 at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
The conference will have three plenary research talks, contributed talk sessions, and a student poster session, where women mathematicians in Arizona can share their work. The symposium will also include a workshop on teaching and equity in math courses, as well as structured networking sessions during lunch. We hope that faculty, instructors, and students will attend. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Limited funding is also available to support some participants. (Please see website below for more information.)
