The ArizMATYC conference is scheduled for Friday, February 22, in the Dome Conference Room, in OSS 101 (OSS on map: http://www.phoenixcollege.edu/about/maps-locations/osborn) at Phoenix College. Tentative times: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Breakout sessions will be in nearby classrooms.

The campus is located at 3310 N. 10th Ave, Phoenix, AZ (NE corner of 11th Ave & Flower). This campus has WiFi throughout and may be connected to using CubNet-guest.
The kickoff event for the ArizMATYC Spring Conference is Calculus: The Musical. The performances are schedule for Thursday, February 21, 2013, Noon and 7pm, in the Bulpitt Auditiorium (“AU” on map: http://www.phoenixcollege.edu/about/maps-locations/main-campus) at Phoenix College. The performance is free, but seating is on a first come/first seated basis.
Lunch will be provided by the Phoenix culinary program.
Standard option: Garden salad with house dressing, Chicken Mignon (an airline breast stuffed with green onions, mushrooms, and cream cheese wrapped in bacon) with rice pilaf and vegetables, NY-style cheesecake served with a berry sauce. (gluten-free individuals will need to avoid the cheesecake base, depending on their sensitivity)
Vegetarian option: Garden salad with house dressing, Grilled vegetable plate with rice pilaf, NY-style cheesecake served with a berry sauce. The chef may be able to accommodate an alternate dessert (for those with dairy concerns), but cannot promise anything at this time.
Coffee, iced tea, water, taxes, tips are included.
Registration
Online registration is now closed. You may still register on site on Friday. A limited number of lunches will be available for purchase on Friday when you register.
Presenters
The window for submitting proposals has closed. If you are interested in presenting at a later conference, the proposal window for the Fall Conference and Meeting opens May 1.
Schedule
This conference will have a variety of presentations focusing on open education resources, inverted classrooms, and classroom strategies.

Several vendors will be available at the conference. Vendors may register online using this form. Vendors may pay for their registration online.
Housing
A block of rooms has been set aside for Thursday and Friday nights at Holiday Inn Phoenix Downtown North, 212 West Osborn Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013 (602-595-4444). The cost is $99 + tax for single/double occupancy. Mention the Phoenix College Math Meeting to insure you get the discounted rate.
